Beltran shines in Vital Recruitment win
Action from a match in the PBLQ organised Independence Cup basketball tournament
RONIL Beltran and Jacob Burke each picked up 20 points apiece as Yonan Airconditioners/Vital Recruitment Unlimited Corporation defeated Qatar Foundation/Cassina 111-90 for their fourth successive win in the '110th Independence Basketball Cup 2008' at the Qatar Sports Club in West Bay.
Meanwhile, Q-Chem Polymers suffered their second successive loss to UPC All-Stars going down 96-87 and Sinko AHU & FCU/Master Engineering won 20-0 against NBKS. In other matches, UPC Baby Concrete demolished Bgy CCIC 92-79, Q-Chem Internationals halted winless Toscana Speedos 87-64 and Joseph Chavaria scored 31 points including six rebounds to lead CEG to a 86-75 victory  over MZ & Partners
As usual giveaways were handed to spectators through a raffle draw provided by The Look Company, Western Union, Sun & Moon Restaurant, Expert Logistic Services (ELS), Olympic Sports, Master Engineering Services, Vital Recruitment Unlimited Corporation, Ahmed Hassan Bilal Trading and Contracting Establishment (AHB) and Habib Exchange.
