 EMIR MEETS ISRAELI PM: HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani meeting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Paris yesterday on the sidelines of the Mediterranean Union launch summit. Talks dealt with developments in the Middle East peace process and efforts made to revive it, besides the possibility of lifting the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip and the alleviation of the Palestinian people’s suffering. The meeting was attended by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani, HE the Chief of the Emiri Diwan Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Saud al-Thani, Director of the Emir’s Office Sheikha Hind bint Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and HE the Secretary of the Emir for Follow-up Saad Mohamed al-Rumeihi.
