Damas launches Faberge jewellery line at boutique

Dr Mohr (centre), Raghunath and Hamado display the new collection
DAMAS, the leading international jewellery and watch retailer represented by Al Mana Group in Qatar, has launched the prestigious Faberge jewellery collections at Damas Les Exclusives Boutique at Landmark Mall.
In the tradition of the creations of the Peter Carl Faberge workshop, the collections epitomise outstanding design and craftsmanship that blends both modern and traditional techniques.
Through the innovative use of age-old methods such as guilloche and enamelling, Faberge’s jewellery pieces exude elegance and timeless beauty.
Faberge’s president, creative director and the great grandson of Victor Mayer (the famed Faberge work master), Dr Marcus O Mohr said on the occasion that it is the timeless appeal of outstanding design and fine craftsmanship that has kept the tradition alive.
Xenia, Signature, and Parapluie are the Faberge collections that have been launched. Xenia features elegant necklaces, earrings and rings in a choice of 18 carat yellow and white gold, distinguished by the signature diamond X.
The Signature collection showcases miniature Easter eggs, a Faberge speciality, which by themselves are feats in craftsmanship.
Parapluie, though described as Xenia’s twin sister, is a distinct line characterised by its austere yet dainty designs.
Damas managing director Tawhid Abdullah said that lovers of fine jewellery would be captivated by the fascinating collections from Faberge.
Al Mana Jewellery Company - Damas area manager V V Raghunath and Damas Landmark shop manager Ayman Hamado were also present at the launch.
