AN INDONESIAN engineer died of meningitis on Sunday, after spending five days in hospital. The body of the 52-year-old man was sent home yesterday.

He was admitted to Al Khor hospital on Tuesday night after he complained of uneasiness and was shifted to the Hamad hospital on Friday when his condition worsened, a spokesman for his employers said. He said the man had no health problem when he came to Qatar on February 11.

He is survived by his wife and four daughters aged between seven and 21.
