Officials at a ceremony held to release the new brand name and logo of the company.

Qatar-based Quality Group has announced that it has updated its corporate brand to Quality Group International and unveiled a new company logo.
Shamsudheen Olakara, chairman of the company, released the new logo and brand name at the corporate office in Al Hilal.
Retail group general manager (GM) Aboo Navas, technical division GM Sajeev Pushpamangalam, FMCG division GM Moideen K, group finance controller Mins Mathew, divisional managers and executives attended the function.
“The logo redesign underscores the company’s evolution from a predominately Qatar-based firm to a global technical, FMCG and retail group,” the chairman said in a statement. “The new logo and corporate brand are part of our business expansion in neighbouring GCC countries, India and the Far East. The new corporate brand supports and reaffirms the purpose, values and culture that have been the foundation of Quality Group since 2001.”
The group started its business with the foods and services division in 2001.
It later diversified its businesses into varied areas of engineering, printing, healthcare, food and transportation. In 2010, the management forayed into the business of large-format retail outlets.
Quality now has a chain of hypermarkets and department stores in Qatar. It has also expanded its technical, retail and FMCG operations in the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and India.
