Doha Bank Group CEO Dr R Seetharaman joins the latest winners of the Al Dana Savings Scheme during the awarding ceremony.

 

Doha Bank has announced the third and fourth winners of the monthly draw for its Al Dana Savings Scheme this year.
The draw, held at the bank’s headquarters in West Bay, selected 86 winners, including A M Hamo, who won QR1mn in the fourth draw. He received the cash prize during an event held at the Doha Bank headquarters in Dafna.
“I am glad to be the winner of the Al Dana 1mn prize this month, and I gladly invite my friends and family members to save with Al Dana saving scheme to stand a chance in the upcoming draws,” Hamo said.
The latest winners in the Al Dana draw this year, included C E Dumont, who won QR100,000 in the monthly Premium Draw for customers maintaining at least QR250,000 in their Al Dana accounts, and J P M Mamawal, who took home QR50,000.
Four winners received QR25,000 and 10 got QR10,000 each, while 24 other customers received QR5,000 each.
Earlier, M I Ahmed, who won QR1mn in the second draw, said: “It feels great to be a millionaire. I have been with Doha Bank since 2008 and the prize money I have won has certainly changed my life. I plan to continue my education, perhaps start a business after my graduation, and help my father with his business in Qatar, which he calls his home away from home.”

New account holders were not to be left out in the latest draw with Doha Bank, which introduced a special prize draw for customers in a category that saw 20 “new-to-Al Dana” customers receive a brand new iPhone 6 each.
Also, 20 iPhone 6 smartphones were awarded to young savers to recognise their commitment to saving at an early age.
Doha Bank head of Retail Banking Suresh Bajpai said: “With the largest prize pot in the history of the programme, this year’s Al Dana campaign ensures that more customers will have a chance to win valuable prizes. The prize draws are based on savings balances, so customers can increase their chances of winning by saving more and contributing often to their Al Dana accounts.”
