Vodafone Qatar recently held a recognition event to commemorate its best retail achievers.
Under the Vodafone Al Mumayaz Programme and in line with the company’s “commitment to building and strengthening relationships with mass market outlets,” the company invited over 300 retailers to celebrate their “outstanding efforts” in the presence of the firm’s CEO, Kyle Whitehill, alongside other officials.
The event featured entertainment from all over India and saw Vodafone giving away grand prizes, travel vouchers, home furniture and more than 100g of gold.
Participants included retailers and distributors in addition to Vodafone Qatar sales, marketing, operations and networks teams who joined in the festivities.
Whitehill addressed the attendees and gave an overview of Vodafone’s latest network enhancements.
Marc Norris, chief commercial officer of Vodafone Qatar, said: “Our partners are keys to our success and therefore we place very high importance on the feedback they have about us as well. Our Mumayaz Programme and event aim to reward and recognise our retailers for their efforts and commitment to support Vodafone and to be our ambassadors in the market.”
Aiming to strongly engage with all its stakeholders, Vodafone holds regular meetings with its mass retailers to update them on the latest products and services besides networks improvement. The feedback and insights Vodafone gathers from these meetings is essential to continuously enhance its mass market performance, the company said in a statement.
These meetings also aim at engaging and conversing directly with shop owners and managers in order to collect first-hand input, which forms the basis for developing bespoke services and solutions to each area, the statement
added.
Attendees of the Al Mumayaz event expressed joy at the surprises in store for them, especially the recognition and appreciation of their accomplishments.
