The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Qatar’s fifth national conference, themed “Auditing Matters”, will be held from May 31 to June 2 at Grand Hyatt Doha.
IIA Qatar patron HE Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, chairman of the Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development, will officially open the event.
“This world-class event with international and local speakers will captivate and stimulate thoughts, which will inspire and enable more valuable service to organisations one is associated with,” said Christian Adonis, conference chairman.
Professionals such as auditors, accountants, risk managers, compliance officers, IT security and business continuity administrators, students and staff in supply chain management (procurement) will benefit from the conference.
“The specialties are exclusive Arabic streams, concurrent sessions for wider choice, chief audit executive’s forum, digital data protection processes and data analytics. The innate learning from conference will be both intense and in-depth,” said Sundaresan Rajeswar, conference committee member.
IIA global chairman Anton van Wyk is expected to attend the event. His professional career includes more than 30 years of experience with global clients in corporate governance, risk management and internal audit.
