East European countries - Romania and Slovakian Republic - who are first timers at the Milipol Qatar exhibition have made a good beginning with the introduction of some innovative equipment and applications.

Soitron Group, the first firm from Slovakian Republic to participate in the exhibition, has hit the expo with their Intelligent police cars applications, which the manufacturers said would help the customers locate and regain swiftly those vehicles stolen anywhere in their area of use.

“It is experimented with remarkable successes across Europe and now orders have also started coming from outside the continent,” said mobile unit’s division manager Jan Gero.

Gero said the company’s equipment fitted in the police cars across have been widely received and the task of police to trace not only stolen cars but even those violating traffic rules has become much easier than what it used to be before.

The equipment, he said, help simplify navigation of the mobile police units to an operational target and it also sends detailed information about the offences directly from police headquarters concerned.

While elaborating the advantages for the public from the use of the equipment, the company official said it helps affected customers receive swift police action and increases efficiency in recovering stolen vehicles.

Romania’s Mira Technologies, which is the first and only firm from the Balkan country to participate in the expo, has come out with light equipment to detect drugs and explosives.

While explaining the advantages of the equipment, the manufacturers said it is not only an economical device but is also easy to handle compared to many other applications in use.

The devices, said the company official Andrei Floroiu, produce results faster than others used in the detection of drugs and explosives but also have a longer shelf life.
