HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani exchanged greetings on the advent of Eid al-Adha with a number of Arab and Islamic countries’ leaders in telephone calls yesterday.

HH the Emir exchanged greetings with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, Moroccan King Mohamed VI, Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah and UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan.

Greetings were also exchanged with Bahrain King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa, Yemen President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas, Sudan President Omar Hassan Ahmed Bashir, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guellehand, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, Lebanese Prime Minister Tamam Salam and Kuwait Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad
al-Jaber al-Sabah.

The Emir also exchanged cables of greetings with leaders of Arab and Islamic
countries.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani exchanged cables of greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Adha with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries.

HH the Emir received a cable of greetings on Eid al-Adha from HE the Advisory Council Speaker Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi.

Al-Khulaifi, on his part and on behalf of the council members, greeted HH the Emir on the occasion Eid al-Adha, wishing His Highness good health and success, and wishing the Qatari people goodness and prosperity under his wise leadership.

The Emir responded with a cable of greetings to the Speaker and members of the Advisory Council, wishing them health and wellness and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity. 

HH the Emir and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior have cabled congratulations to German President Joachim Gauck on the occasion of his country’s
national day.
