HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal, Chief of General Intelligence Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Interior Prince Mohamed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz. The meeting was attended among others by Emiri Diwan chief HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani.

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday afternoon met at the Emiri Diwan with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal, chief General Intelligence Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Interior Prince Mohamed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz.

At the outset of the meeting, the Saudi officials conveyed greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, and their wishes of health and happiness to HH the Emir and progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.

On his part, HH the Emir asked the Saudi officials to convey his greetings to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi Crown Prince, and his wishes of health and wellbeing to them and more progress and growth to the brotherly Saudi people.

The meeting reviewed aspects of fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries and means of enhancing and developing them, in addition to discussing the path of joint GCC work.

They also touched on a set of issues of mutual concern, notably the latest developments on the regional and international fronts.

Emiri Diwan chief HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani attended the meeting along with a number of ministers.

HH the Emir held a luncheon banquet in the honour of the Saudi officials.

The Saudi officials left Doha in the evening. They were seen off at Hamad International Airport by Emiri Diwan chief HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani.
