Doha Bank has partnered with Qatar Charity in support to the latter’s “Ademha Programme”, which provides meals to underprivileged families.
Faisal Yousef Abualfain of Doha Bank’s Legal Department and Ahmed al-Ali, who represented Qatar Charity, recently met and signed the partnership agreement.
Abualfain said: “Doha Bank is committed to supporting the efforts of leading social organisations, such as Qatar Charity.”
“We are also honoured to support the remarkable efforts of the social workers, who dedicate their lives to making positive changes in our society,” he added.
“Qatar Charity reaches out to hundreds of thousands of people every year across a variety of programmes in Qatar and around the world and Ademha is a shining example of a programme that promotes solidarity within the society,” he said.
Abualfain added that Doha Bank regularly supports charitable causes and co-ordinates with civic groups in Qatar to generate awareness of important issues within the community.
“The bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme aims to contribute to the goals of Qatar Vision 2030 and its primary pillars of economic, social, environmental and human development,” he said.
