Girls dressed as Mother Teresa attend an event to commemorate the 103rd birth anniversary of the Nobel peace prize winner at a foundation school in Bhopal yesterday. Mother Teresa was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu on August 26, 1910 to Albanian parents in Skopje. She began her missionary work with the poor in Kolkata in 1948 and won the Nobel prize in 1979. Following her death in 1997 she was beatified by Pope John Paul II and given the title Blessed Teresa of Calcutta.
