Board members are seen during a factory visit
Qatar Aluminium Extrusion Company (QAEC) has acquired new equipment, technology and machinery making it reach an extrusion capacity of 8,000 tonnes per year and plans are afoot to increase production capacity to between 20,000-25,000 tonnes per year, it was announced at a board meeting held recently.
The company board members under chairman Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah al-Ansari, later visited the factory and were briefed on the
trial run.
Al-Ansari praised the support extended by HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani as well as the Minister for Energy and Industry Affairs HE Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada.
