The Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) has raised the country’s largest banner, 108m by 18m, to mark Qatar National Day, which is celebrated tomorrow (December 18). Festooned with the Qatari national colour maroon, the banner depicting the logos of QTA and Qatar National Day, has been set up on the West Bay facing wall of the Doha Exhibition Centre on Lusail Street. QTA chairman Ahmed al-Nuami said the banner captured the spirit of Qatar and showed the organisation’s loyalty and thanks to the wise leadership and vision of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.
