Gilles Bosquet, a genuine Michelin Star chef has joined the growing team of specialists and hospitality experts at The St Regis Doha.
Michelin Star is a global award that is presented to a small number of restaurants of outstanding quality every year, and the arrival in Qatar of a chef holding the prestigious recognition marks another leap forward for the hospitality sector.
Chef Gilles Bosquet joins The St Regis Doha as the fine dining chef de cuisine, bringing his international experience, modern outlook and passion about food to Doha.  Before joining the team, chef Bosquet worked at a number of Michelin Star restaurants in London, France and the UAE. He even ran his own Michelin Star restaurant in the French countryside.
Bosquet joins a diverse team that includes executive chef Brendan McGowan and a group of over 100 culinary associates. As fine dining chef de cuisine, Bosquet  will have primary responsibility for creating the menus and maintaining standards at The St Regis Doha’s fine dining establishments.

Assembling a team of leading chefs from some of the world’s most pre-eminent dining restaurants is one of the key ingredients in the hotel’s long-term success.

Having worked at The One and Only in Dubai under master chef Lew Kathreptis and at the opening of the Address Hotels, chef Bosquet has extensive Middle East experience. 
In London, chef Bosquet was part of the team at the one-star Michelin Star restaurant, The Connaught, part of the Gordon Ramsey Group.  In France, he was sous chef at La Pyramide, a two-star Michelin Star restaurant in the heart of Paris.
In 2009, chef Bosquet  took his passion for food and opened his own restaurant in the French countryside, where he was awarded his first Michelin Star for exceptional cuisine and service, after only two years. Committed to quality and with a great attention to detail, chef Bosquet has started sourcing the finest and freshest produce from all over the world for the signature dishes and modern Mediterranean menus that will be available at The St Regis Doha.
