Akbank, the second largest private bank in Turkey, has more than 900 branches in its network and has the ‘ability to transfer the funds quickly and serve customers efficiently’.
Doha Bank’s customers will be able to transfer money online from Doha Bank account to their account with any branch of Akbank in Turkey.
Turkish customers in Doha will also be able to remit funds to beneficiaries having accounts with any other bank in Turkey. The beneficiaries can collect cash from any branch of Akbank. Similar services for corporate customers are also under consideration, Doha Bank said.
