Omar Alfardan, Harald Scheffel, and Mohamed Kandeel present the BMW 760Li High Security sedan at Milipol Qatar 2014 yesterday.

 

Alfardan Automobiles and the BMW Group have showcased a selection of BMW security vehicles at the three-day Milipol Qatar 2014 exhibition which opened yesterday at the Doha Exhibition Centre.

Milipol Qatar is the region’s most influential trade exhibition dedicated to internal State security.  Since its creation in 1996, Milipol Qatar has been organised by the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar and Comexposium from Paris.

Omar Alfardan, president and CEO of Alfardan Group, said: “Currently in its 10th edition, Milipol is one of the most important exhibitions of its kind in the region held in Qatar and supported heavily by the Government, especially HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani. BMW is one of the few manufacturers in the world who have their own security vehicle engineering dating back over 30 years. BMW Group and Alfardan Automobiles have displayed the BMW X5 Security Plus and BMW 7 Series High Security on display.

Harald Scheffel, direct and special sales regional manager at BMW Group, was also present at the opening of the exhibition yesterday.
