Family members and friends at the Jagdip Mehta Heritage Home give final touches to a rangoli, or a mural made out of coloured powders, “Swachh Bharat” (Clean India) with a figure of Mahatma Gandhi ahead of Diwali festivities in Ahmedabad. The artists are trying to spread the message of cleanliness drive, which was recently launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The 200-year-old Jagdip Mehta Heritage Home was restored with the joint efforts of the Ahmedabad Heritage Cell and the French embassy in 2006.
