Global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney has expanded its presence in Qatar by inaugurating a new office in Doha, its 60th worldwide.

The move underlines its commitment to providing world-class strategic consultancy to public and private sector clients in Qatar. The establishment of this office follows what A.T. Kearney termed “the exponential growth” of Qatar’s economy, creating the need for a bigger presence for the consultancy firm in-market. The opening of the office in Doha spearheads a region-wide expansion of the firm as it seeks to continue to support the success of its GCC clients, the company said.

Johan Aurik, managing partner and chairman of the board, A.T. Kearney, said, “Our new office in Doha and relocation of senior consultants with in-depth expertise underline our dedication to the success of Qatar-based clients. By leveraging our global insights and local expertise as well as the relocation of a strong experienced senior team on the ground in Doha, we match client needs across sectors.”

On the occasion of the new office opening, Yousuf Mohammed al-Jaida, QFC Authority deputy CEO said, “The QFC is pleased to welcome international consultancy firm A.T. Kearney on board its growing family of diversified businesses. As a QFC-licensed firm, A.T. Kearney will benefit from our favourable business environment, allowing the company to advantageously position itself in a competitive market and further contribute to Qatar’s growth.”

Over the years, major companies from Qatar have expanded internationally and become leading players in several industries such as telecoms, media, sports, oil and gas and financial services. Other priority areas for the rapid development of the nation are healthcare, talent development and education.

Dan Starta, partner and managing director, A.T. Kearney Middle East said, “Qatar as a country is undergoing accelerated growth in a compressed timeframe, something we call ‘hyper speed evolution’. This kind of rapid growth and maturity calls for strong leadership, strategic foresight and flawless implementation – something A.T. Kearney enables by providing our strong deployment approaches and forward looking insights to our clients.”

Alongside Qatar’s economic development and diversification, A.T. Kearney has been advising leading Corps and public institutions in Qatar for several years.

“As a trusted adviser we will continue to support Qatar in the realisation of its 2030 Vision by providing immediate impact and growing advantage to our clients, our people, and the Qatari society” said Marc Biosca, Lead Partner Qatar, A.T. Kearney.

“With the opening our new office in Doha, we will be even closer to our clients when supporting the development and implementation of their strategies and the realisation of their ambitions,” he added.
